Revel In Me

by

Serena Spinello

An allusive inferno gleams in my eyes as accusing optics account my adequacy. My focal virtue is not a trend- tenacious, relentless, adamant and unabridged, I bestow such to creation. Farewell to the obligatory assessments; concocted by men who despise their own reflections. Mute choirs air anthems of annihilation and anguish as I prance around in my ill fitting attire. Alluringly authentic; callow because I won’t conform, impetuous because I inderdict integration. Bouquets of sovereignty and a crown of autonomy adorn my resplendent shape. Whole am I; partial are they who comply for fear of judgment. Erecting my own bountiful path of victory, I take flight and soar.
