Poetry
Three Poems

Amsterdam
Breathing in the chilled gas
I stiffen my gait to combat
Rather,
Try and exhale the tropics
In this freeze
My distracted expression witnesses
A porno
A homicide
A horror
A fantasy,
Nonetheless
Explores these fragmented and
Boney streets
Of the Netherlands.
My Birthday
They all sing along
To my birthday song; three cheers!
I’m closer to death.
As the Weather Turns
Iced rivers lay still
Skeleton trees clothed in snow,
An old man freezes.
