Poetry
Savior
by
Margaret Grady
Where I dwelt
Ice and inky stones
Covered the landscape.
Wooden cities a mile high
Spiraled in every direction.
I learned to blend.
To slip into the cold and
empty spaces
Between the crowds.
I learned to breathe in
that ocean
Of gloom
And guilt.
To feel nothing
But frostbite.
To think nothing
But worry.
And then
" You came "
wings empty
Your a the sky
glory in
filled color
You my with
world
