I’m currently 21 and have been writing poetry for since 18 years old. The first thing that got me into writing was listening to engaging bands and their lyrics, ranging from Manic Street Preachers to N.W.A. I also started reading work by Sylvia Plath and Phillip Larkin who greatly inspired me.
