I am an aspiring, poet and writer at the beginning of my career. I have a degree in Creative Writing from Manchester University in England where I studied under Robert Graham and Julie Armstrong.

Although I have never been previously published before I consider this submission to be an opportunity to get my "foot in the door" of this industry. I am currently working as an intern with the Red Hen press owned by Kate Gail and Mark E. Cull. They are an independent publishing company that publishes over one hundred poetry books including Erinn Batykefer’s Alleghany Monongahela.

I have been told that my poetry is well written and experimental. I am influenced by the poetry of Frank O'Hara and Charles Bukowski and feel that my pieces are a reflection of their poetic talent.
