Martin Boyd Derbez is an Australian-born writer, English Literature teacher and Spanish-English translator. Several of his short stories have appeared in literary magazines in Australia, and one was included in an educational textbook published by Oxford University Press in 2003. He has also worked as a magazine editor, a singer-songwriter, an actor and director of theatre, a radio announcer, a travel agent, a landscape gardener and a taxi driver. He currently lives in Toronto, Canada.
